Our R&D department is applications oriented. Utilizing our unique formulating capabilities with existing technologies, we look beyond the obvious to develop practical solutions for our customers.

Grenhall’s focus is on customization. Every customer's performance requirements  deserve and receive our individual attention. The majority of our manufactured products have been created in cooperation with, and for specific use by, our individual customers.

Solvent technology has remained stagnant for several decades. Environmental issues, health and safety, as well as stringent fire regulations, and the resultant dramatic decline in usage, have all served to discourage performance oriented R&D in solvent adhesives and coatings.

We are committed to responsible manufacturing of solvent adhesives and chemical specialties utilizing our internally generated technology, as well as partnering with well established manufacturers. This has created new opportunities and avenues for advancement in this area of chemistry.
